Gabriele Marangoni

Gabriele Marangoni is an Italian chef and painter whose art practice has become a natural extension of his creative life in the kitchen. After years of plating and composing dishes, he became drawn to the visual effect created by dripping and swirling sauces on the plate. This curiosity for gesture and flow led to experiments with paint and canvas.

 

Inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism and the freedom of action painting, Gabriele works instinctively, often using only his hands and fluid enamel paint. His developing process, often guided by music, is shaped by rhythm, gravity, and motion.
